The annual Mutt March Fun Walk and Festival benefitting the Jacksonville Humane Society will be held Saturday March 2 at The Landing from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The festival fun is free, although dog walkers must register to take pledges for the Humane Society.  If you aren’t up to the 1.5-mile long walk, there’s also a less-taxing short walk of a quarter-mile.  At the festival, you’ll have a chance to bid on silent auction items, play games, adopt pets, buy food and other products, plus play with all those tail-wagging dogs.

The Orange Park Art Festival will take place February 9-10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, with free admission and free parking. Dozens of artists and craftspeople will be showing and selling their wares at the juried show, plus food vendors and performing musicians will be on hand.  The event takes place at the corner of Wells Road and Blanding Blvd. in an open parking area of the Orange Park Mall.

A fashion show featuring local firefighters, makeup sessions, health checkups, free food and wine tastings, product samples, cooking demonstrations, prizes and discounts are all planned for today, May 10 at The Avenues Mall, 5 to 8 p.m. for the annual Mom’s Night Out.  Stroll the mall with Mom for free fun and peruse the wares of 40 vendors.
