Living Social Families is offering a one-hour private swimming lesson at UNF Aquatic Center (an indoor pool facility) for $29 (a $60 value). Or, you can get two one-hour private lessons for $59 (a $120 value). Children ages 4 and over are eligible, and the lesson begins at the child’s level, from beginner to advanced.
OneJax and the University of North Florida Interfaith Center are bringing Diana Eck–director of The Pluralism Project at Harvard University–to Jacksonville on February 28 at 7 p.m. Her presentation, Practical Pluralism in a World of Difference, is free and open to anyone, however tickets are required.
