Saturday starting at 10 a.m. the Beaches Town Center will be buzzing with holiday spirit. Santa will be in the courtyard at 200 First Street, where you can get your picture taken with the bearded one, plus sample refreshments and shop holiday gift discounts at the local shops. Santa moved to Starbucks at Atlantic and 3rd Street later in the day to join in Starbucks’ Party-on-the-Patio, where you can play games and sample coffee drinks. If you’re feeling altruistic, you can help wrap gifts for the Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministry (BEAM) and if you’re feeling thirsty for something substantial, Joseph’s Pizza’s happy hour is from 3 to 7 p.m. on Saturdays.
Sunday, the Jacksonville Landing is hosting a real bark-fest Sunday with the Yappy Hour Christmas Paw-ty, from 2 to 5 p.m. It’s free fun and Santa will be on hand to pose for pictures with Fideaux. Humans can enjoy special prices on treats and cocktails, plus contests and giveaways. Bring a bag of dog food or donate $5 to the Humane Society and get a free print of your pet on Santa’s lap. If you already have a great holiday picture of your dog, email it to bainsworth@jacksonvillelanding.com by tomorrow and you can see your furry friend’s mug on the Jumbotron at the Landing.
The Ringling Brothers Clowns will be at Riverside Arts Market this Saturday, just for fun. This is the second-to-last RAM of the season, and the fun goes on from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
