Today–October 20–Riverside Arts Market is celebrating Octoberfest until 10:30 p.m. Get to the RAM site under the Fuller Warren Bridge and listen to live music, shop RAM vendors and drink local brews. As always, admission is free.
The last Riverside Arts Market (RAM) until March 2012 is happening this Saturday with the usual array of live performers, food vendors and fun. Perhaps more to the point, this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. is your last chance to buy one-of-a-kind gifts from the artists and craftspeople who sell their wares at the weekend festival. After you buy your gifts, you can have members of the Art Guild artfully wrap your presents for a small donation.
The Ringling Brothers Clowns will be at Riverside Arts Market this Saturday, just for fun. In addition, Santa will be on hand to pose for pictures with your pets, and artists and craftspeople will be offering their best holiday gift wares. This is the second-to-last RAM of the season, and the fun goes on from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Riverside Arts Market is pulling out the steins and extending RAM hours this weekend for an Octoberfest extravaganza, Friday 5 to 10:30 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. There’s free admission and free parking, as always, and plenty of free games and activities including keg races, stein holding contests, a Kid Zone with Pumpkin Bowling, Pumpkin Passing, face painting, dancing and other amusements. Live entertainment includes One Step Ahead of the Law Brass Band playing oompah music and the ever-popular Mike Shackleford band. Of course, there will be plenty of beer flowing. That isn’t free, but it will be accessible!
The Riverside Arts Market is hosting a two-day Octoberfest celebration October 21st and 22nd with free entertainment, music, games and prizes. Of course, there will be plenty of beer flowing and that isn’t free….unless you’re one of the Octoberfest volunteers! So, if you want to share in the fun and get a few free beer tickets, contact Torrie at torrie@riversideavondale.org or volunteers@riversideartsmar
