With warmer weather on the way, remember that those who rely on a wheelchair for mobility can access the ocean via ramps at various spots, including downtown Jacksonville Beach.  Better yet, you can borrow a beach wheelchair designed for rolling over the sand at the Jacksonville Beach lifeguard station, Beach Boulevard at the Ocean. Check the City of Jacksonville Beach site for access points and phone numbers.
