Let your id take a romp though the musings of Sigmund Freud, for free!

The Karpeles Manuscript Library — at the border of Downtown and Springfield — will be showcasing some of Freud’s original documents, including treatises on the cause of migraines, his views on psychoanalysis in the United States and his assessment of his own dreams.

The museum also houses hundreds of rare, vintage books that visitors are allowed to touch and peruse. There’s no charge for admission to the Karpeles and the Freud exhibit will be in town through April 27. Hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The Karpeles is at 101 W. 1st St. in Jacksonville, 904-356-2992
