National Donut Day — or National Doughnut Day as some  say — is Friday.

Free donuts and donut deals are available June 1 from participating Dunkin’  Donuts shops,  participating Krispy Kreme shops and some other donut vendors.

  • Participating Dunkin Donuts shops are offering a free donut with purchase of a Dunkin’ beverage. Offer is valid at participating shops, while supplies are available. Browse local shops
  • Participating Krispy Kreme Doughnut shops are offering a free doughnuts, with no purchase required. Browse for local shops on the Krispy Kreme website
  • Free contest–Entenmann’s and The Salvation Army are featuring a Donut Day Sweepstakes for free donuts and other prizes. Enter online by June 23,  no purchase necessary

Free Dunkin’ Donut For AARPers

donuts rParticipating Dunkin’ Donut shops are offering a perk to folks who belong to AARP.

AARP Members with a valid proof receive a free donut with an eligible purchase.

The eligible purchase apparently is a large or extra large hot coffee.  Members also may need to flash their membership card as proof they are part of the non-profit organization for folks age 50 and older.

Krispy Kreme Valentine’s Deal

kkParticipating Krispy Kreme stores are offering Valentine’s Day donuts — and  a way to receive free doughnuts.

The deal, which kicks off this week in some stores, requires buying a dozen doughnuts.

With a purchase of a dozen at participating shops, receive a dozen free Valentine’s cards. Each card includes a voucher for a free doughnut.

The deal is offered at up to two per person while supplies last.
