The Fernandina Farmer’s market offers good prices on in-season produce, plus herb plants and a variety of handcrafted prepared foods. The market is open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Centre and 7th Streets in downtown Fernandina. If you can’t make it to Amelia Island, ramble over to Neptune Beach for the Beaches Green Market in Jarboe Park, from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday. In addition to produce, organic dog treats and other prepared foods, you’ll find natural cosmetics, fruit trees and orchids.
